Natural minor:

Yikes that "le ti" really hurts!

Ok I'm warmed up now, I'm ready to update!

I started back to the Conservatory and I am loving it.  It's been homework every night so I've been a busy girl!  It's like I always say:  "The more theory the better!"

I am so glad it's Labor Day weekend.  I got to spend my Saturday and Sunday nights studying up on basic theory and music history.  I got me some new Gregorian chant cd's that I've been rocking out to in my car.  I would have studied Friday but my friends dragged me to a Kansas City Royals game.  I wanted to study soooo bad!  I even tried to study the intervals of the organ that played.  When we sang the Star Spangled Banner, I sang harmony.  I JUST LOVE MUSIC!  THEORY IS EVERYWHERE!

Can you read this?

I can!

Well I'm tuckered out.  I can't believe I get one more day to practice practice practice....then practice some more.  Could life be any better?

(only if we started Modes on Wednesday!)

See ya!

I don't update enough on here!

My life has been going well as of late....I've just been out doing the normal stuff:  driving around, driving by Dr. Lidge's house, parking my car outside his house, looking thru his mail, peeking in his windows, reading my theory book and getting a head start on modes and working on finishing the Tonal Harmony workbook written by Stevie Baby.

I've been trying to get in touch with my inner "hillbilly".  Here's a picture of the music group I'm trying to get in

I think I can do it!

Well that's it for now....leave comments and remember

I love you all (just not as much as I love me some modes!!!)

ok so my friends set this up for me and they made me sound like a complete loser, I will change things in a while to make myself seem more normal, but the leonard story was all me!

(As you read this story, imagine a hick voice, or if you know Drew Holcomb, just imagine him speaking, j/k I love you Drew!)

This is a story about an air conditioning man named Leonard!  Leonard stopped by my house the other day to see if we needed our air conditioning serviced.  I had my friend Ben Humphrey (sorry, had to edit the spelling of Ben's last name) over and he had his cello with him.  Leonard asked Ben, "What's that you dun got there son?"  Ben says, "It's a cello."  Leonard says," You play that there celler boy?"  Ben says, "yeah."  Leonard says, "Y'any good?"  Ben says, "I'm alright."  Leonard says, "I dun love the celler!"  THE END
